In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of top air travel apps on the Android platform in Kenya revealed interesting trends, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Qatar Airways saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 16.4K during the week of August 18. The app maintained a robust user base, with weekly active users climbing to 33.7K by mid-September.

For Ethiopian Airlines, weekly downloads started strong at 7.3K mid-July but tapered off to around 3.5K by the end of September. Weekly active users remained steady, fluctuating around 14K to 15K throughout the quarter.

Cheap Flights・Flights70 experienced relatively consistent weekly downloads, hovering around 300 to 500. Active users showed stability with minor fluctuations, ending the quarter with approximately 9.6K users.

The Flightradar24 Flight Tracker app demonstrated modest weekly revenue, peaking at $197 in late August. Downloads reached their highest at 542 during the same period, although active users gradually declined from 5.3K to 2.8K by the end of September.

Lastly, Airtime Swap maintained a consistent download rate, with numbers slightly decreasing from 456 at the beginning of July to 298 by the end of September.
